Company Overview

In 1983, Paul and his wife Karen Hoholik purchased the Sears Merchant Catalog store. While Karen ran the Sears store, Paul worked plumbing for another company. Also in 1983, Paul received his State Master Plumbing License. Business at Sears continued to grow and it took more and more of Paul’s time until 1986 when Paul started Paul’s Plumbing on a full time basis. He started with two pickup trucks, one employee and a small inventory of tools. By 1990, Paul’s Plumbing employed four people and Sears employed three. In January 1993, Sears announced they were closing all of their Catalog stores, so the decision was made to re-invent the business to Paul’s Plumbing and Appliance. We now offer plumbing services 24/7/365, a full line of home and industrial appliances, cabinetry, heating services, fireplaces and water conditioning. We currently employ nine full time employees.
